MetaTrader 5 offers Depth of Market which displays bids and asks for any instrument at the current best prices. The depth of market shows real volumes and prices of trade requests within the market.
Strategy
MT5 includes the built-in Strategy Tester, which allows users to evaluate the efficiency of a trading robot before using it on a real account. The system uses historical instrument prices, over a selected period and performs virtual operations according to its algorithm. The results show trading strategy efficiency and simulate possible behaviours during live trading. The main advantage of the Strategy Tester is the possibility to evaluate a robot performance prior to trading on a real account.
